Translate This—My Salary’s Yours!” CEO Mocked — Single Dad Janitor Replied, Stunned All

He stepped out into the freezing alleyway, the heavy steel door swinging shut behind him.

Genevieve didn’t hesitate.

She threw open the door and ran out into the biting November wind, her designer blazer offering zero protection against the cold.

“Mr. Callahan!” she yelled, her heels clattering against the icy asphalt as she chased him down the alley toward the brightly lit street corner.

“Nathaniel, stop!”

He paused at the edge of the sidewalk, turning to look at her as she caught up, breathless and shivering violently.

“My car is sitting right over there,” Genevieve pointed toward a sleek, black Lincoln Navigator idling at the curb, its hazard lights blinking softly.

Her private driver, Samuel, stood by the driver’s door.

“Samuel can get us to Memorial Children’s Hospital in twelve minutes. That’s ten minutes faster than your bus.”

Nathaniel narrowed his eyes, studying her face under the harsh glare of the streetlights.

“Come with me,” Genevieve pleaded, her voice dropping the last remnants of corporate pride.

“Ride in the car. Sit with your daughter. I won won’t interfere with your time with her. But bring my secure iPad. Co-draft the counter-clause with me from the hospital room. If we submit it by midnight, Holloway Global stays afloat, your union health fund remains secure, and I will personally guarantee a five-million-dollar endowment to Memorial Children’s pediatric autoimmune ward tomorrow morning.”

Nathaniel stood silently on the cold Chicago pavement.

He looked at the idling Lincoln, then at the shivering billionaire CEO standing before him in the wind.

“Get in the car, Ms. Holloway,” Nathaniel said softly.

“Before you freeze to death.”
